Types of Maps Fan Fold- Glue and label pictures of different types of maps.

Compass Rose - Describe the purpose of a compass rose.

Latitude Layered Book - Define and draw lines of latitude on a map, define the arctic and antarctic circles and tropics of cancer and capricorn.

Oceans Circle Fan Fold - List the oceans and answer some questions about the waters of the world.

Maps Envelope- You can customize this lapbook to any area you want to study with this envelope. Print out outline maps and have your children label them. This can be as easy or detailed as you need.

Geography Terms Envelope - You can customize again here. Use these printable terms pages to have students define geography terms suitable to their age level. Have them illustrate the term on the top and define it on the bottom. Here are some ideas to get you started: atoll, bay, cape, cove, equator, geyser, peninsula, tributary.
